Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Grant traveled to Salt Lake City for a few days. They were accompanied by their daughter, Velda and friend, Deborah Renee Bachan, who spent a week here with the Grants. Velda and Deborah are employed in Salt Lake. Gary Prince left Friday for Provo to visit with his brother, Elwin, who is attending BYU, and then will go to Salt Lake where they will attend their mission reunions. Dr. and Mrs. Deon Kelsey and girls of Richfield Rich-field . visited over the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Kelsey and Mr. and Mrs. Clair Stocks of Cedar City. Several attended the wedding reception in Cedar City Friday night honoring Mr. and Mrs. Robert Imlay who were married Thursday. Robert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Imlay. Mrs. Susie Taylor of Salt Lake City is here visiting for a few days with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Olive Schmutz. Mrs. Schmutz hosted a ladies sewing club. The afternoon was enjoyed by all attending and visiting with their friend, Susie. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Prince attended the reception in Cedar City Saturday afternoon for Julie Jones and her husband who were married that day at the home of her mother, Carol Ann Nyman. Julie is the daughter of Kerry Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Phildon DeMille of Henderson, Nev., are here spending the weekend working on their home and gathering their crops. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Prince and girls spent Friday until Sunday in Salt Lake visiting their sister and sister-in-law, Wilma Lynch and Masco Grant, and to take in the circus Saturday night. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall are Cryil and Mary Ellen Thompson of Basalt, Ida. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Cryil Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle B. Prince and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pearce visited one day last week at New Castle with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hertz. Visiting Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince were their son and daughter-in-law, Roland and Natalie Prince of Cedar City. |
