The fair was an attempt at-tempt to interest health sciences students in practicing in non-metropolitan non-metropolitan areas. Mark Daley, acting administrator at VVMC, said that the hospital's booth was an attempt at finding out what kind of interest recent medical school graduates and those working in residencies had in working at VVMC.
