Taught on Fridays and Saturdays, the Saturday sessions will be from 8 a.m. to 12 nooa Classes will be Oct. 30-31 and Nov. 6-7, 13-14 and 20-21. Art Methods for Elementary Teachers, a three-credit course offered of-fered through Southern Utah State College's Outreach Program in Teacher Education, begins Oct. 30 in Tropic. Officially designated i Art 390, the professional education course is designed to help teachers understand the 1 development of creative expression and perceptual per-ceptual awareness in their students. Registration can be completed during the first class period. Anderson, j associate professor of art at SUSC, is the course instructor. Anderson has been a faculty member at SUSC since 1968, and is an : experienced i artist and teacher of students from elementary grades through the university level. |
