Show i Enoch Orion Sherratt had the misfortune to receive very painful burns in an accident last week. He is recuperating at home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Orton and lamily were here on Sunday from St. George to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grim-shaw Grim-shaw and be present when the new baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Grimshaw was blessed. Mrs. Colleen Grimshaw and two children were in Pleasant Grove last week. They returned home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson were in St. George on Friday. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Taylor who went to consult a doctor there. Mr .A and 'Mrs! Bob Rasmussen have a new baby boy born last week at the Valley, View Medical Center. ' Helen Pace made a trip to Las Vegas recently on business and to visit with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Budd enjoyed a visit from family members, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Oliphant and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wichael. By VEDA MATHESON Record Correspondent Mr. and Mrs. Robert Foisey were in St. George , on Saturday evening to attend the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Anderson. Boyd is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson who are former residents. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Anderson also attended the Anderson reception. Mrs. Mary DeWitt returned last week from a month long visit in California with her family. She was accompanied ac-companied home by a friend, Helen Syphus, and the two ladies have since visited in Provo, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. George Ball came from McGill, Nev. to visit with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Balk ; Mrs. Ina Richardson spent some time in Salt Lake visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scott and girls. Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Lee had their baby blessed on Sunday and had many out-of-town visitors. The baby's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Williams of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Lee of Beaver were here; also great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Hy Lee, Mrs. Warren Thompson, and Mrs. Naomi Hughes; and Mrs. Ada Overlade who is the There were other relatives and friends numbering thirty-six thirty-six people. |
