The Mall." which will be located jusl north ol ski lift number three, will lme commercial and business lacilities downstairs and lime-share condominiums on the upper level, said Douglas Perry, president of the com-lan com-lan . The center will be built in three phases, with Phase I licing completed this summer. The lirsl phase will have 7.500 square leet, and Perry hopes to have it completed and businesses operating by Thanksgiving, in time for the ski season next winter. The 1 ii st phase will be about 4,r0 feet long, with (id loot deep commercial spaces, said Perry. All businesses will lace an outside, 1 2-foot covered arcade. The establishment will also have parking in Iront, which should help to alleviate some of the parking problem in Brian Head during the ski season. The -mall- will contain a ticket sales office, last lood establishments, a laundromat, offices and "the entire gamut ol ski area or resort related shops." said Perry. "We're going lo plan it so thai we make sure it has a significant amount ol what people want." he continued. Perry's company has already leased 11,000 square leel ol available space, but he was quick to note thai there was still 1.500 leet lelt. The architecture of the building will be rustic wood. "We think it's a clean architecture and lias a lot of appeal. It won't In- offensive," Perry said. He also said that the placement of the mall was excellent, noting that it was right next to the ski runs and would attract a good business.
