Show Fern Urie both of Cedar City, and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Twitchell of Ogden. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Cedar Sixth IDS Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. FERN LORRAINE DALLEY URIE, 56, died Feb. 26, 1981, in a Cedar City hospital. She was born July 23, 1924, in Teasdale, Utah, to Ronald J. and Margery Hiskey Dalley. She married Richard (Dick) Urie March 7, 1947, in Cedar City. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Sept. 11, 1975. He died Oct. 8, 1979. Fern was a cashier for State Bank of Southern Utah and a member of the Cedar City Ladies of Elks and the Hey Cedars Square Dancing Club. She was an active member of the LDS Church and attended the Branch Agricultural College (now Southern Utah State College) in Cedar City and Utah State University . in Logan. She is survived by a son and three daughters: Boyd R. Urie of Washington, Utah, Mrs. Duane (Susan) Coleman of Cedar City, Sally Crosby of Glendale, Ariz., and Diane Urie, serving a mission in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters; R. Rex of Helena, Mont., John C. of Las Vegas, Mrs. Bert (Ada) Carpenter and Mrs. Gordon (Iva) Bringhurst, |
