Show New Harmony with her for her birthday, a friend Wendy of Hunter, I'tah. Visiting Thursday with his mother, Mrs. Vivian Prince was Roland Prince of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prisbrey have returned home after spending some' time in California with their son Donal and family. Mrs. Margaret Meet' ham of Milford visited her mother, Aunt Emma Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Den-sley Den-sley visited last week from their home in Midvale, their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Prince and family. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hut and family spent a few days in California. Mr. and Mrs. Dale King and Lisa and Sharon Talonnie and Maria Prince attended a a tea at SUSC honoring Sheldon B. Grant who retired after 22 years of faithful service. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hunt, Aunt Vilate Prince, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison, all of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Anderson of Cedar attended the party at the Ward Chapel honoring Sheldon Grant. By Marva D. Prince Visiting recently with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Prince was Eldon Grim wood of Bloomington Hills. Mr. Grimwood is chairman of the Solid Waste Committee of Washington County. Mr. Pearce is the representative of New Harmony. A special program and a night of visiting was enjoyed by the Ward members recently honoring Mr. Sheldon B. Grant on his 64th birthday and after retiring from ' the SUSC at Cedar City. Light refreshments were served and a large crowd of family and friends to honor Sheldon. Mrs. Vilo Pearce returned home after spending two weeks in Las Vegas with her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Verla) Cripps and to help out with the family while Camie, a granddaughter of the Pearce's recovered from back surgery. Ms. Leah Beatty has returned home after spending three weeks with her sister-in-law Grace Kclsey in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Kelsey recently spent a few days in Provo where Mrs. Kelsey received medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Pace spent a few days in Minersville with their-daughter their-daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Allen (Jean) Carter and family. Word was received by family and friends that Marjorie Gordon of Logandale Nev. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LcRoy Prince, and granddaughter of Reed and Iaura Prince was in a car accident. Marjorie and her class in MIA were returning from a skating trip to Las Vegas, three of her friends and a leader were killed after the car they were riding in hit a truck. We wish Marjorie a quick recovery from family and friends of New Harmony. Kim Sevak had visiting |
