Show Troop 336 Celebrates Scout Week Troop 336 of Enoch began their celebration of Scout Month on January 26 with a Scout Banquet at the Enoch Chapel Cultural Hall. Highlighting the evening was the honoring of the original members of Troop 336 which started in the early 1920's. Seven of the original 21 members were in attendance and 18 are still living. George W. Grimshaw, Scout Master, related experiences ex-periences such as traveling to Mammoth Creek in a horse and buggy on dirt roads, hog-tieing a horse on its back in order to shoe it, and beating out a forest fire with quacken aspen branches. bran-ches. He indicated that when they went on scout camps, they lasted for two weeks. Those in attendance enjoyed en-joyed a banquet and the many scouting displays. |
