Show as L. Bleak Gets His Buck as Lloyd Bleak returned Sunday Sun-day evening to his post at Gardner Gard-ner Field, Taft, Calif., where he is in training with the Army air forces. He was here to take in one day of the deer hunt and was successful in getting his buck. . Mrs. Bleak accompanied him to Taft and will spend the week. Her sister-in-law, Mrs. Ralston Barber, expec.ts to come home with her. Ss fa. fa Cpl. F. Parry Graduates Cpl. Floyd Parry came in from Yuma, Ariz., Monday to spend the week with his aunt, Mrs. Paul Bryner, and sons, Keith and Paul. He has just graduated from one phase of his training with the air forces at Yuma, and will leave Sunday for Lemore, Calif., to enter en-ter occupational training. 1 Pa Pa Pvt. 51. Cox Visits Here Pvt. Merril C. Cox, son of Frank L. Cox of St. George, was home last week from Camp Crowder, Mo., on delayed orders, enroute to his next location. -On the way home he visited in Logan with his sister, Mrs. LaRue Jeffries, Jef-fries, and in Provo, with another sister, Mrs. Verna Martinson. He left Sunday evening for Los Vegas where he will visit his brother, Owen, and family before going on to his post. He is with the signal corps and figures he has been fortunate in his visits home. His brother, Earl Cox F3c, is with the submarine service, and has not been home in two years. Pa pa Pa On Second Voyage DeLoy Johnson S 2c, telephoned tele-phoned his grandmother, Mrs. Annie Johnson recently telling her that he has been assigned to another ship and was off on his second voyage. He said he was well and glad to be on the sea again. |
