CEDAR CITY; Utah Plans for better programing, new radio standards stan-dards and operations were made by the officials of radio station KSUB, Cedar City, this week. Ivor Sharp, President and Leland M. Perry, Vice-President of the Southern Utah Broadcasting company com-pany conferred on the details in connection with the net work affiliation of KSUB with the Columbia Co-lumbia Broadcasting Company. It was announced that on Nov. 1, radio station KSUB would join the CBS network, but Ivor Sharp stated that the Southern Utah area would continue to be served with local broadcasts originating in the studios of KSUB. At a recent meeting of the Board of Directors of the Southern South-ern Utah Broadcasting Company, Ivor Sharp was elected president of the radio station and Leland M. , Perry, organizer and founder of KSUB in 1937, was elected vice-president. It was also announced an-nounced that Lennox Murdoch was elected station manager and Hurschell G. Urie, resident mana-ger. |
