Show Gleaner Girls Comraderie Party Held In South Ward Chapel Tuesday The Relief Society rooms of the South ward chapel furnished a homey setting for the Gleaner Girls comraderie party held Tuesday Tues-day evening. The affair was under un-der direction of the leaders Mrs. Milton Burgess and Mrs. Hannah Johnson, with 20 girls attending. Fall flowers and lighted candles were used in room decorations, with a log fire in the open fireplace. fire-place. The girls made a charming picture in their evening dresses. The group sang, "M. I. A., We Hail Thee". Other numbers included the story of Ruth by Mary Judd; vocal solo, Louise Millett, accompanied ac-companied by Jessie Mae Redd; reading of the Four Sheaves by LaPrele Sullivan, Bonita Burgess and Muriel Cannon. Games and refreshments followed. Prayers were by Mrs. P. E. Harris and Mrs. Harold Cannon. |
