Show SPRIHGDALE Mrs. Sterling Seegmiller Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Linford Christensen and two children of Escalante visited vis-ited with relatives here over the week end. Mrs. Victor Ruesch has as her guests this week, her mother, Mrs. Joseph Barney of Virgin and her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Short of Pinedale, Wyo. LeGrand Hepworth of Salt Lake City arrived here last week to visit with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Gifford were called to LaVerkin to see their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gerald Ger-ald Gifford and three small children, child-ren, who had arrived there from Salt Lake City for a short visit. Mrs. Mack Bean and three daughters of Overton are visiting in town with relatives while Mr. Bean is out deer hunting. Miss Zelma Gifford was taken to the Iron county hospital for surgery last week. Mrs. Arden Allred had a tonsil-ectomy tonsil-ectomy recently. Mrs. Curtie W. Welch stopped here a few days at the home of her father to get her two small children. She was enroute from her employment in California to her home in Ogden to meet her husband, who will be there on his furlough from the Navy. Roy Davis was in town over Sunday. Ward conference was held here Sunday afternoon with the stake presidency, Elmer Graff, Ivan J. Barrett and Lafell Iverson in attendance. at-tendance. Infant's Graveside Services Graveside services were held here Monday at 3:30 p. m., for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Squire Crawford. It was born Sunday and only lived a few hours. A mixed chorus sang a song and Mrs. Wesley Hardy rendered a solo. Services were under the direction of Bishop Alvin C. Hardy with the grave being dedicated by Othel Gifford. |
