Show Funeral Services Held j Friday for Mrs. Beuiah Canfield Hunt ENTERPRISE, Utah. Funeral services were held here Friday morning, Oct. 20, at 10 a. m., for Mrs. Beuiah Canfield Hunt, 54, who died Tuesday, Oct. 17. Although Al-though she' had been in poor health for years, she was taken 1 suddenly ill Monday night and was rushed to the Iron county hospital, where she died the following fol-lowing morning. Bishop Arthur J. Barlocker was in charge of the services and the speakers were Arthur P. Jones, Amos F. Terry and Bishop Barlocker. Bar-locker. All of them spoke of their long personal acquaintance with Mrs. Hunt. They told of her good life and work and of her willingness to help others. She had a natural talent for nursing and gave unstintingly of her time in the care of the sick. They also told of what a fine mother she had been to her large family. Musical Numbers Musical numbers included two numbers "by the choir, "Resting Now from Care and Sorrow", and "O, My Father",- with Maribah Holt as soloist; "Going Home", solo by Alma Terry; and "Dream of Our Yesterdays", duet by Alta Truman and Howard Holt. L. M. Terry gave the opening prayer and the closing prayer was given by Milton F. Laub. Beuiah Canfield Hunt was born April 9, 1890, in Hamblin, Utah. She was the daughter of Esther Ella Harmon and James Canfield. When nine years of age she moved to Enterprise with her parents and have lived here ever since. On Nov. 2, 1910, she married Thomas George Hunt in the St. George Temple. Seven children were born to this union, six of whom survive her. They are: Kenneth Hunt of Fillmore, Calif.; Mrs. Raymond Laub of Simi, Calif.; Mrs. Beuiah Youmens of Gardenia, Calif.; Mrs. Karl Twit-chell Twit-chell of Cedar City; Ariel Hunt 'n the armed forces; Byron Hunt of Enterprise. Also four sisters, Mrs. Jacob Hunt of Lehi; Mrs. Arnold Orton of Provo; Mrs. Eunice Eu-nice Carpenter of Sandy; and Ber-n'ece Ber-n'ece Canfield of Santa Monica; two brothers, Willard Canfield of fresno, Calif.; and p. Lester Can-field Can-field of Enterprise; also nine grandchildren survive. All of her children, except the "y in the service were present jt the services, also all of the brothers and sisters, except Wil-ax, Wil-ax, who missed making connections connec-tions on the train. |
