Show Large Crowd Attends Stake M. I. A. Theme Play At the Elementary The Elementary school building was packed to near capacity last Thursday evening for the presentation presen-tation of the stake M. I. A. theme play, "Hand Cart Trails", which was sponsored by the stake M.I.A. officers. Ian Cooper of Washington Wash-ington ward, stake dramatic chairman chair-man of the Young Men directed the performance which was well presented by a carefully selected cast. Covering the memorable encampment en-campment at Winter Quarters and the hazardous journey of the hand cart Pioneers, this play offers of-fers excellent opportunity for a large cast, and recalls the many trials and hardships which these early members of the L. D. S. church faced rather than remain in camp for an indefinite period perhaps until the succeeding year. The many months required for this trek and the sorrows and joys that marked their journey were ably portrayed. Included in the cast were Continued on page four) M. I. A.
