Show BUNKERVILLE Bunkerville, Jan. 30 Mrs. Lea Tob-ler, Tob-ler, whose baby is very sick left for St. George this morning to get medical aid. Arshael Granger drove .the car and Mrs. Chloe Abbott and D. H. Lea-vitt Lea-vitt accompanied her. Mr. Tobler is away from home, having gone to Carson Car-son to attend the legislature some two weeks ago. Word was received here last week that Birdie Tobler who has been working work-ing at Las Vegas, since the holidays, was married there last week. Marvin Waite and wife were visitors here last Sunday from Indian Springs, Nevada, where he is employed on the highway. Marriner Cox and wife were visitors here last Sunday. At our sacrament meeting yesterday we had three ladies from Overton as home missionaries, Mrs. Ellen Perkins, Mrs. Martin Bunker, Jr., and Miss Wolley. Grant Snow and 'wife were here yesterday yes-terday visiting at the home of the lat-ter's lat-ter's father W. C. Bowman. She has the care of two babies, her own, and the infant of Mr. Conger who lost his wife some time ago. Dudley Hardy is beginning work on a new house. Several people have been making improvements on the sidewalks. Roy Waite, Hector Bunker and Elmer Leavitt especially which add much to the appearance as well as convenience in walking. |
