Show ANNUAL TROPHY OFFERED TO UTAH'S BEST BOY SCOUT A trophy will be awarded each year to the most worthy scout of the state by Dr. Charles G. Plummer, sponsor of Salt Lake scouting, as a new incentive in-centive to added endeavor, according to an announcement recently. A candidate from each of the six councils of the state will be passed upon up-on by Dr. Plummer to determine the winner to receive the award at the annual state meeting of Boy Scouts this month. The extreme requirements are that the scout must have come up through all the ranks of scouting, have been a patrol leader, senior patrol leader and finally scoutmaster of a registered troop. A continuous scouting membership mem-bership from the tenderfoot stage to the time of award is also a prerequisite to entrance. Dr. Plummer is at present pres-ent a member of the executive committee com-mittee and chairman of the leadership training committee of the Salt Lake council. |
