Show LOOKING OVER MESQUITE DOME A party of Cedar City residents, accompanied ac-companied by men from Kansas City interested in securing oil leases in this territory, passed through St. George Friday on a trip of inspection to the Mesquite country. The object of the trip was to look over structures on Mesquite dome and to endeavor to locate a drilling site for contemplated future operations. The men from Kansas City included M. R. Taylor, Edward Aaron, Henry Auerbach, Sol Berksom, Max Bloch and C. C. Nelson. Included in the Cedar City party were Lafe McCon-nell, McCon-nell, Fred Beiderman, and H. T. Lowry, secretary of the Cedar City-Syndicate. City-Syndicate. The Cedar City Syndicate controls over 60.000 acres in the Mesquite district. dis-trict. , The Kansas City men represent the Quad State Corporation, which is conducting drilling operations in the states of Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and Arizona. |
