Show HURRICANE LOCALS John Crawford and son Squire of Springdale were here on business Saturday. Chas. Esplin of Orderville was in town Friday. Bishop Chas. Anderson of Glendale is in town on business. Forrest Tait of Mt. Carmel was in Hurricane Monday on business. Chas. B. Petty was here Saturday demonstrating the new Ford. . . . Albert Mathis of New Harmony was in town this week on business pertaining per-taining to his goat herd. J. W. Imlay returned this week from Ogden where he has been on business. busi-ness. Mrs. Frank Beatty left Wednesday for Hinckley to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Nellie Blake. Mrs. Lela Hoyt returned Friday from Hidden Breaks where she has been visiting the past month. ' Geo. Thompson of St. George is doing do-ing the' plumbing work on the new house of Wm. E. Woodbury. Walter Spendlove is working on the power line which is being installed between Harrisburg and Zion park. Howard Wright is working on the new road which is being built in Zion canyon. Born A daughter to Mr. and Mrs.' Ned Stevens. All concerned doing nicely. Reed Bradshaw entertained a number num-ber of friends at a card party at his home January 29th. Lunch was served and all report having had a very jolly time. |
