Show NOTICE OF CONTRACTORS STATE OF UTAH Office of State Road Commission Salt Lake City, Utah. February 2nd, 1928. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m. Friday, February 17th, 1928, and at that time publicly opened for construction of a graded earth road in Washington County the same being Federal Aid Project No. 80-B between Arizona and Summit Beaver Dam Mountains. The length of road to be constructed or improved is 9.186 miles, and the principal items of work are approximately approxim-ately as follows: 37,500 cu. yds. Unclassified Excavation; Excava-tion; 21,000 cu. yds. Borrow; 200 cu. yds. Concrete in structures. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Com-mission, Salt Lake City, and at District Dist-rict Engineer's office at Cedar City where they may be reviewed by prospective pros-pective bidders. Specifications, proposal, pro-posal, bidding blanks and plans will be furnished at Salt Lake City, on depositing depos-iting $5.00, which .will be .returned, providing contractor submits an acceptable ac-ceptable bid and returns the plans within seven days after bids are received. re-ceived. Any additional information may be secured at the office of the State Road- Commission. Each bidder bid-der must submit a letter from an approved ap-proved surety company guaranteeing to furnish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certificate check for Two Thousand Dollars, ($2,000.00) made payable to the State Road Commission must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and givp bond as required.
