Show MODENA Mrs. Minnie Mclntyre of Driggs, Idaho, came in Monday on train 25 for an extended visit with her sister, Mrs. Lillian Chapman. Mr. and Mrs. Loraine Memmott, signal maintainer, came home yester-terday yester-terday with a new Chevrolet sedan. Mrs. Memmott has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Duke at Provo since before the holidays. Mr. Memmott took his vacation- several weeks ago and joined her there. Mrs. Elsie Iverson has returned from spending the winter with her son, Iver, at Sterling, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. George Wm. Rhodes have moved back to Modena. He has secured team work for a short time with the water service. Alvin Iverson has recovered from a bad attack of tonsilitis. He with Miss Iverson are spending some time at Enterprise. Mrs. Leon Terry and Mrs. E. E. McDowell called on Mrs. W. A. Bond Sunday who has been ill for a long time and does not show much improvement. im-provement. Miss Blanche entertained a few friends Tuesday in honor of her birthday. birth-day. Those from' out of town were Miss Vivian Hurt, Howard Huling and Bobby Dotson of Hamlin valley. E. E. McDowell made a business trip to Enterprise Monday. J. B. McDonald has let out bids for a seven room and basement addition to his hotel and store building. |
