Show WHITE FRONT TAKES OVER PACE INN AND DIXIE STATIONS Announcement was made this week of the leasing of the Pace Inn Service Station, owned by John W. Pace, by the White Front Service Station. The change was effective February 1st. The original lease was to H. J. Doo-fittle Doo-fittle of Cedar City who sub-leased to the White Front. The lease covers only the Pace Service Station, as Mr. Pace will continue in control of the tourist cabins. A grease rack will be built on the grounds, and the White Front vulcanizing equipment moved to the new location, where service work on the Pickwick stages will be done, and the stage office will be located at this station. The tourist cabins on this corner are proving very popular with the tourists who stop over in St. George. They are new and clean and are furnished with electric lights, bed and mattress, table, etc. The White Front on February 1 also took over under lease the Dixie service ser-vice station operated by Jesse Gray under lease from Fred Schulz. owner. Charlie Bawler of Las Vegas will manage man-age the station for the lessees. |
