Show Lane Frost nabs bull riding title Lane Frost, son of Clyde and Elsie Frost, former residents of Vernal, who now live in Lane, Oklahoma, captured first place in the bull riding event at the National High School Rodeo Finals in Douglas, Wyoming Frost netted first place w ith a total of 216 points and had rides of 73, first performance; 75, second performance and 68, third performance. A saddle, buckle, hat and boots were awarded to Frost. Kyle Kosoff of Ogden nabbed first place in calf roping at 31 Z31 in three performances. Buck Mendenhall, Alpine, netted third place in cow cutting cut-ting with a score of 421. Uintah Basin cowgirls Darlene Frost, pole bending and Ann Peterson, breakaway roping, competed in the National Finals, but did not place. |
