FREEMAN freemans celebrate 65th edding anniversary Earl J. and Mary Freeman will tlebrate their 65th wedding anniver-ary anniver-ary on Wednesday, August 5. Earl came to Vernal from Salt Lake ot:tty in February 1916 when he and Arch 'wry purchased the McKee Dry jeaning establishment. He married lary Rich, from Vernal, August 5, iii16. The marriage was later solemniz- i in the LDS temple. They are the parents of four children : r Earl Clell, Vernal, Conna Mar llackburn, Rangely and NeVar and iby Verl, deceased. They also have ve grandchildren and four great jrandchildren. Earl was Uintah County Justice of the eace for 19 years before his retire- .J ment. He is a charter member of the Vernal Lions Club District. He was one of the first to receive the "Senior Master Key." He was Secretary and Treasurer for 2 years and President for one year. He was also one Leader over seven clubs in South East Utah for one year. He was a counselor in the Young Mens MIA. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman were proprietors pro-prietors of the Freeman Cleaners from 1916-1950. Mrs. Freeman has served as a President Presi-dent of the Primary, a teacher in the MIA, 1st counselor in the Relief Society and was in the Stake Relief Society Board for 16 years. Louisiana and Mrs. Michael Hill of Moscow, Idaho. Five " generations are Sarah Martinson, Carol Rosson, Romania : Freeman, Terri Hill and Tyson Hill. |
