Show UDOT gives traffic report for June Composite traffic volumes in Utah during June show an overall increase of 3 percent when compared with the corresponding month of last year and an increase of 1.9 percent for the first six months when compared with last year, according to the Utah Department Depart-ment of Transportation 'Traffic Bulletin'. Highways leading into the Uintah Basin recorded substantial traffic increase, according to the bulletin. Interstate 80 at Parleys Canyon recorded 17.5 more traffic in June 1981 than in June 1980. U.S. 40 at Daniels Canyon recorded a 9.8 percent increase in the traffic for the six month period. U.S. 40 east of Jensen traffic is 2.2 percent higher for June and 18.1 percent per-cent higher for the six month period. SR. 44 north of Vernal traffic is 8.1 percent above last June and 15.8 percent over the six month period. SR 87 north of Duchesne traffic has decreased 27.6 percent for the month . and 12.7 percent for the period. On U.S. 40 west of Roosevelt there was no traffic counts made, according to the UDOT report. |
