Show Our Readers Tell Us. . . 4D DSCie to FeQan MOe tifee vjfiElft) umj pa pec aIfo Over one-third of the people who receive a community weekly newspaper in Utah spend more than 45 minutes with each issue (National average time spent reading a larger daily is 20 minutes ) Why? Just like you. they like to sit down with their newspaper and read the names of their sons and daughters who are doing things at school, in the community, and participating in manylocal events You. your friends, and your neighbors get a great deal ot attention in the pages of this newspaper because -you are all doing and saying things that make hfe here more interesting. No one else cares as much as you and I do about our part ot the state. We live here, and we have a vital interest in our school board decisions, zoning ordinances, ordinan-ces, property taxes, water problems, and all of those things that escape proper attention at-tention from outside news sources. This is our home and our newspaper, and we want to make this place the best place in the world to live. Thanks tor being interested for taking the time to read local news and being a better informed, responsible neighbor. -Statistics taken from a statewide study ot Utah's weekly newspapers by an independent research organization during July. 1978 |
