Show KENNETH EUGENE "KENNY" "KEN-NY" KEHN Vernal youth dies in Oklahoma Kenneth Eugene "Kenny" Kehn, 14. of Vernal, died Wednesday in an Enid, Oklahoma hospital of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services were Saturday, June 13, in the Fairview Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Chuck McKinney officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery at Woodward, Okla., under the direction of Fairview Funeral Home. Kenny was born Dec. 5, 1966, at Okeene, Okla. The family moved from Okeene to Fairview in 1967. In 1971 they moved to Perryton, Texas and in 1972. the family moved back to Fairview. then later that same year moved to Woodward. Okla., where Kenny attended school from kindergarten kin-dergarten through seventh grade. He started to play football in the third grade. He played baseball, football, basketball and track for Kinds Inc. and .was on the traveling team. The family moved to Vernal in 1979 where Kenny was on the Superintendent's Superin-tendent's Honor Roll at Vernal Junior High, and the Royals baseball team. He was sergeant in the Civil Air Patrol and was nominated to its advisory committee. Survivors include his parents, Vernonica and Ray Dean Kehn. Vernal, Utah; one sister. Sheila, of Vernal; maternal grandmother, Eilene Woods, Vernal: and paternal grandmother, Leta Kehn, Fairview, Okla. He was preceded in death by both grandfathers. |
