The swiss steak dinner Monday at the Golden Age Center was yummy. The regular diners were pleased to welcome a few newcomers and visitors. Jessie Dowden, Rachel Brough's sister, was here from Fort Worth, Texas. Noah Rodaback's son, Charles, and his family ate with us and the Queen of the Oldtimers' Rodeo and her attendant joined us. They are Doreen Hunting and Linda Morris. New to Vernal but soon to be regular Monday dinner attenders are Cleo Layton and Lucille Youngstrum, mother and daughter. Picnic lovers are getting ready to take off for Green's Lake Thursday June 25. This potluck, hotdog day will sure be fun for those participating. Friday night dancers welcomed back Vida Clark after her sick spell. Newlyweds, Aaron and Naturitch Davis Stephenson from Mountain Home were there dancing with stars in . their eyes. They look mighty happy and we're all happy for them, too. Speaking of dancers, I got a chance to talk with a couple who love to dance and I found out a lot of things they're interested in.
