Arvin Labrum of Roosevelt was the high overall champion in the Vernal Rod and Gun Club's 3rd annual Uintah Basin Trap Shoot with a score of 558-600. 558-600. Marshall Lee of Midvale nabbed high all around championship honors at 379-400 after defeating Lloyd Labrum of Richfield in a shootoff. Lloyd Labrum nabbed the 200 singles champion crown with a score of 198-200 after defeating Gordon Lee of Salt Lake in a shoot off. Roosevelt's Lynn Labrum garnered the 200 handicap championship title at 184-200 184-200 after defeating Ron Sellars, Bountiful, in a shoot off. Lloyd Labrum pocketed first place in the singles class AA Sunday with a score of 99-100 after defeating Lee, Leo Rooks, Vernal; Randy Freston, Roosevelt and Dale Amos in a shoot off. Danny Talbot, Riverton, garnered the singles class A crown at 99-100 and Jack Watson, Heber City, placed first in the singles class B at 98-100 after defeating Brett Woods, Salt Lake; Bachman and Cecil Powell, Dinosaur, in a shoot off. Rangely's Alvin Halcomb placed first in tne singles class u at 98-100 ana Jack Hardy, Vernal, netted the singles class D crown at 94-100 after defeating Greg Willyard of Vernal in a shoot off. Also nabbing crowns were: Adam Massey, high junior, 97-100; Lou Harrison, Vernal, high lady, 84-100; Wesley Van Rochel, Ogden, high veteran, 94-100; Phil Harrison, Vernal, handicap champion, 96-100; Bruce Bachman, Salt Lake, handicap run-nerup, run-nerup, 95-100; Tommy Ray, Craig, high junior, 87-100; Sheena Mitchell, Salt Lake, high lady, 88-100 and Wesley Van Rochel.
