Show Ft. Duchesne man dies of kidney ailment Frank DeLay Richens, Sr., 56, of Ft. Duchesne died March 30 at his home of a kidney ailment. . Born Feb. 17, 1925 in Vernal to Elmer James and Chloe Elzina Holmes Richens. He married Ina Rae Kettle July 1, 1946 in Vernal. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple Jan, 31, 1980. He was a bus driver for the Uintah School District for 29 years. Survivors are his widow of Ft. Duchesne; son and daughters, Douglas Elmer and Frank DeLay Jr., both of Ft. Duchesne and Sanda Lee and Mrs. Terry (Shirley). Bussard both of Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ralph Florence Johnson, Mrs. Ralph (Myrtle) Telford, Mrs. John (Mary) Allen, Mrs. Gordon (Reva) Gerber, all of Salt I.ake City and Marva Richens of Tooele. Funeral services will be Friday, April 3 at 11 a.m. in the Roosevelt Ward-Ballard Chapel, 32 South State, Roosevelt. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary Mor-tuary Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 10 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. |
