Show Youths die In vwo Dry Fork isiesdSentfs The Medical Examiner is still determining the cause of death of a 16 year-old Vernal girl found dead in upper Dry Fork Canyon, July 20. Deana Rae Ireland was found in a streambed by picnicers at 3 p.m. Sunday after she attended a party in the canyon the night before, Sheriff Arden Stewart said. She had been dead for ,13 to 14 hours. "Although the cause of death is questionable at this time," Stewart said, "we feel there was no foul play involved. The girl has a past history of fainting and dizzy spells." Miss Ireland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Ireland of Glines. Another Vernal youth died last Saturday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Dry Fork. Brent Anderson, 19, lost control of his motorcycle when returning to Vernal from his birthday party, July 14, at 9 p.m. in Dry Fork. He suffered injuries to the head and never regained consciousness, con-sciousness, Stewart said. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Anderson of Vernal. A female passenger on the motorcycle only suffered minor injuries. in-juries. According to Deputy Sheriff Jack Reynolds a suspect has been apprehended ap-prehended in connection with several Vernal City burglaries and the July 14 burglary of the Country Cash Market in Maeser. Larry Stone, 21, is being held in the Uintah County Jail facing charges of burglary and failure to appear. He was apprehended in Duchesne, July 15. His bail was set at $2,500. |
