Show BUILDING STONE SALE NOTICE The Bureau of Land Management proposes a building stone sale totaling total-ing 100 tons, to be collected col-lected from three designated areas south of Ouray, Utah. The type of building stone is commonly com-monly known as "desert stone", a weather-stained sandstone of uniform thicknesses. It is primarily primari-ly used for wall facing, fireplace and patio construction. con-struction. The stone to be sold is found in the Johnson Draw (T12S, R20E), Nutter's Hole (T11S, R18 and 19E),and Buck Canyon (T12 & 13S, R21 &22E) areas, 25 to 30 miles south jf Ouray, Utah. Rock may be collected col-lected from any or all of the three designated areas. The sale will be subdivided sub-divided into two (2) lots of fifty (50) tons each. Separate sealed bids will be accepted for each lot. Sealed bids must be submitted sub-mitted prior to the time of sale. The sale will be held at the BLM office in Vernal, Ver-nal, Utah at 10:30 a.m. on August 6, 1979. The minimum bid per ton is $4.00. Prepayment, in full, is due within seven (7) days after the date of sale. Rock collection may start after payment.
