Show Entries sought for state fair lUntah County residents have the opportunity of exhibiting articles at the Utah State Fair this year which will be held September 6 through 16, said" I'intah County Home Arts Representative Represen-tative Dawn Porter. . . The items in the Home Arts Department are to be in to Mrs. Porter by August 24. Divisions are: household linens and accessories; bedroom linens; quilts (no tied or handwash quilts); atghans: rugs; pictures and furniture; clothing-fabric, knit and crochet; fashion accessories; canning; candy and yeast breads, said Mrs. Porter. Rules from the State Fair book states that all articles must have been completed within the past three years. Canning must have been prepared within the last year. Any article which has been entered in a previous state fair will not be accepted. Entries are limited to residents of Utah: All entries must be the work of the exhibitor and shown in his or her name. There is no age limit. Exhibitors may enter one item only in any division. The representative reserves the right to refuse to accept entries offered in case there is anything objectionable or not fit for judging or if the entry requires more space than can be allowed. No unfinished work will be accepted. All articles must be cleaned, pressed and if necessary blocked. For more information or to register entries contact Dawn Porter 3168 West 20 N.
