Robertson. The party reached .Kewhouse Sunday morning- at 10 o'clock, and the party divided di-vided to visit the various mining- properties prop-erties throughout the entire district. Almost Al-most every one wanted to get down Into the Cactus properties and see the wonders won-ders that have been exploited In that section, sec-tion, but as there were too many visitors to take down in so shart a space of time, they reached an agreement by drawing lots. Some of the party went over the Glory Hole section of the district and wound up the day by -covering the properties prop-erties in the vicinity of Frisco, returning to Milford last night. Today the party went over the Star district and all properties prop-erties in the vicinity of Milford received more or less attention. The irrepressible Harry Joseph has come to the front 'By being the first one of the Salt Lakers to announce the closing clos-ing of a deal with the controlling Interests Inter-ests tn the McLane group. This property adjoins the Newhouse possessions and is a matter that Joseph has had under con-ideration con-ideration since the adjournment of the Legislature. While the party was at Newhouse 850 tons of 4 per cent copper ores were reduced re-duced at the milling plant. This, with two cars of crude ores worth $11,000, was started to. the Garfield smelting plant. MINING MEN ON. HIKE. As this Is Arbor day there was no session of the mining exchange until Tuesday, and the curb trading Is also cloned. A great many mining men and brokers are taking advantage of the suspension sus-pension of business by hiking to the different dif-ferent camps where they have Interests, to make inspections of properties. The biggest single delegation is the crowd which went to Beaver county on a special train Saturday night. They were a Jolly lot and from all accounts a very pleasant and profitable trip is being enjoyed by these ninety men, which made up a party.. par-ty..
