Show CITY ABANDONS CARE OF MORRIS DETENTION HOME A meetjng of the Juvenile Court association asso-ciation was held Saturday, at which official offi-cial notice was received that the citv will no -longer maintain the Morris Detention home for delinquents. The message wa sent to Judge E. G. Gowans by Citv Re-conler Re-conler J. 11. Moreton. It is contended that there is no law to compel the city to accept the obligation and that there is now 1500 in bills for the Morris home for the city to settle. At the meeting of the association, Attorney-General M. A. Breeden waa elected president for the coming year. He succeeded D. H. Christensen, city superintendent super-intendent of schools. Preston D.' Rich-arris Rich-arris was elected to succeed Judge Willis Brown. |
