Show JOSHUA f. GRANT HAS PASSED AWAY Slight Cold Developed Into Pneumonia, and Well- . Known Business Man Died This Morning. Joshua F. Grant, local manager of the American Steel and Wire company, died at 0:20 o'clock this morning at his residence on Fifth East street. Mr. Grant was attending to business last Wednesday, but he was stricken with a cold, which developed into pneu-. raonia. .... Mr. Grant was a widely known and popular business man. having been one of the founders of the firm of Grant, Odell ft Co., out of which grew the Cooperative Co-operative Wagon and Machine Co., of which he was also at one time manager. His fifty -first birthday was Saturday. He leaves a widow and three children, and his brothers, Heber J. Grant, B. F. Grant, Hyrum Grant, Morgan Grant e4 the late Smith Grant; his sisters v -e the late Mrs. Beniamin Hampton a Mrs. George T. Odell. 'ae funeral arrangements are not yet completed, but the notice will be given later. Mr. Grant was at one time a member mem-ber of the City Board of Education and at the time of his death a promi-nent promi-nent Free Mason. |
