PLANS MIDVALEPARTY MIDVALE Church and civic organizations or-ganizations her Tueaday were making final arrangements' for a program to be given at the Mid-vale Mid-vale Parent-Teacher association "get-acquainted" party in the vle Junior high school auditorium at 7:30 p. m. Wednesday. According to Mrs. Harry S. Wright, president, the program is being arranged under the general chairmanship of Mrs. Harold n Nelson. M. S. Peterson, president of the Mldvsle Kiwanis club, will act as master of ceremonies. Flowers will be furnished by the Mid-Flora Garden club and the Midvale Junior Garden club. E. . Greenwood, principal of Midvale scheels, will speak. A skit, "Back to School," will be given by the Midvale First L. D. S. ward under direction of Mrs. Taylor Jarlrsnn Another skit. "The Little Red School house," will be presented by Midvale Second L. D. S. ward members. mem-bers. Musical numbers by members mem-bers of the Midvale Methodist Episcopal church and the Church of St Teresa will be presented. The program also will include numbers by Midvale Ladies' Com-jnunlty Com-jnunlty club members and humorous humor-ous readings by United States Smelting Refining and Mining company com-pany employes and Midvale Kiwanis Ki-wanis club members. A patriotic number, "God Bless America," will be given by the East Midvale L. D. S. ward. A flag display will be conducted by the Jordan post of the American Legion. A "hard times" dance will be held, with old clothes the most desirable costumes. |
