Show Banker Urges Relief From Industrial Strife SAN FRANCISCO, Sept 19 An "indefinite moratorium on legislation, leg-islation, bureaucratic regulations, reform and industrial strife" was proposed today by Philip A. Benson, Ben-son, president of the American Bankers' association, to meet the "challenge" of economic recovery and the new European war. In an address prepared for delivery de-livery at the fifty-second annual convention of the American Institute In-stitute of Accountants, the Brooklyn, Brook-lyn, N. Y, banker rapped "anti-business, "anti-business, anticapital policies of the government.'' and said: "We have got to release the creative force of capital and Industry if we are to keep our freedom." |
