Show Wilhelmina Chapman and Walter A.Burt Married in Temple, Honored at Reception The mother of the bride, Mrs. Hyrum Chapman of Bluewatar, wore Dresden pink lace with corsage cor-sage of Talisman roses, and Mrs. Louis J. Gubler, mother of the bridegroom, was gowned In black rhiffon with similar corsage. Mrs. Slade wore sky blue lace with pink rose corsage. The couple will go on a honeymoon honey-moon trip a little bit later and will return to Salt Lake City to make their home. The ceremony which united Miss Wilhelmina Chapman and Walter A. Burt In marriage was performed on Monday morning In the Salt Lake L. D. S. temple by Stephen L. Richards, a member of the quorum quo-rum of the 12 apostles of the church. The reception which honored hon-ored the couple was held in the evening at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. F. J. Slade, 1018 Blaine avenue. It was an Informal reception, for which the bride wore white brocaded taffeta made with a full skirt, tight bodice and short puffed sleeves. On her head was a Juliet rap of pearls anl her corsage was of lilies of the valley, gardenias and roses. Mrs. David H. Reed, who is a sis ter of the bride, was f rocked In peach colored silk lace with a Talisman rose corsage, and the attending at-tending matron, Mrs. Richard W. Van Dam, wore white organdy with silver trim and a corsage of pink roses. The bridesmaid. Miss Emeline Chapman of Bluewater, N. M., wore a gown of black and silver net with corsage of crimson ross. The bride's brother. Owen Chapman, Chap-man, who Is also of Bluewater, N. M., was best man for the bridegroom. bride-groom. All the decorations were In green and yellow, the table centerpiece center-piece being of dahlias and fern. Miss Frances Slade presided at the table and serving were Mrs. Calvin Cal-vin B. Jones and Miss Donna L. Mitchell. |
