Show WOMEN TO HEAR SCHOOLLEADER BINGHAM Members of the Central district of the Utah Federation Fed-eration of Women's Clubs will hear Dr. C. N. Jensen, superintendent superin-tendent of schools In the Jordan district, at their district convention conven-tion at theABingham high school in Copperton Saturday, according to announcement Tuesday by Mrs. Hurley English, president of the Women's Civic club. His address, on "Neutrality,' Is expected to treat the International situation as it affects the United States. It will be delivered to more than 100 district clubwomen and their officers. Other speakers will develop the theme of the convention, conven-tion, "Character Building Through Club Activities." , Starting with a board meeting monducted by Mrs. N. Howard Jensen of Tooele, district president, presi-dent, events of the day will include talks by Mrs. H. C Jacobs of Mt Pleasant, state president; an address ad-dress of welcome by Mrs. English, election of officers, committee reports re-ports and a sightseeing trip through the Blngham-Copperfieid tunnel to the Utah Copper company com-pany mine. Delegates and members at the convention, will represent the Mid-vale Mid-vale Woman's club, Magna Women's Wom-en's club, Tooele Woman's and Junior club, Unity club of Union and Murray Women's club. |
