' .f There is very evident a penchant for little wraps to match the gown, and several recent Importations Intended for Southern wear show little Visltes and other cape effects, made of the same material as 'the frock and quite elaborately elabo-rately trimmed.' Such Is the toilette of brown, one-seam crepe de chine, which consists of three pieces the blouse, skirt and vlslte the bitter trimmei with much Valenciennes and occasional motifs of guipure. The blouse has a fagoted yoke, many hand-run lengthwise tucks, and sleeves that are full In the upper part and finished with ruffles at the elbow. The skirt Is shirred over the hips, and the full flounce Is applied beneath a broad band of shirred lingerie tucks, two little ruffles appearing above the velvet-faced hem, with a very old-fashioned air. |
