Loose, who came In from the Grand Central yesterday, verified the recent strike story relative to that property. If the ore body holds out, as it evidently will, the Central, will soon be added to the dividend list again. It Is rumored that the Bingham Consolidated Con-solidated company -has made an offer for the Grand Central property, but that Is denied by all the officials. . ANNUAL MEETING 07 COPPER BELT BAILWAT. The annual shareholders meeting of the Copper Belt railway was held la this city yesterday, at which time, William Wil-liam Bayly of Los Angeles was made president, Joseph G. Jacobs, vice-president, and Charles H. Post, secretary and treasurer, these, with Herman H. Green and Col. Henry G. Heffron. to serve as directors. MINING NOTES. The ore and bullion settlements yes-' terday amounted to $74,600. M. M. Johnson, manager of the New-house New-house properties, left for the south last night. F. W. Muehlenbruck of the Jumbo property at Stockton came up from that ! property yesterday. The new mill at the Gold Roads' property prop-erty at Kingman, Ariz., will go into commission about April let. Fred Bettles, chief expert of the New-house New-house staff, returned from a visit to the Washoe plant at Anaconda last night.
