Show 1 1 URGES ACTION AGAINST TRUSTS OPERATING HERE - port- on the subject of corporations with the recommendation that an amendment be made to the statutes so as to equir all foreign corporations to make annual reports to the Secretary of State. Also that each corporation be required to make affidavit that the corporation is not party to ny agreement or trust and that it is not a confidence game organized to. beat and deceive the public. Failure to file such an affidavit should result in a forfeiture for-feiture of charter. Such a law would, it is urged, destroy without act on the part of the State officers, many fraudulent corporations cor-porations and furnish a basis for prosecutions prose-cutions against -fraudulent concerns. The biennial report of the Attorney-General Attorney-General was filed with Gov. Wells yesterday yes-terday by M. A. Breeden. In it are recommendations rec-ommendations that the proper facilities; may be provided at once for the opposition opposi-tion to the illegal methods of various trusts alleged to be operating in this State. - The report states that there are corporations cor-porations in various parts of Utah that are scarcely . better than confidence ' games of a high order. Immediate steps should be - taken to stamp them out.
