Show J. G. WEAVER WILL PUBLISH HIS POEMS Author of "Lights and Shadows" ' Has Compiled the Best of Hi3 "Work for the Public. Since the appearance of the "Lights and Shadows" in the Salt Lake Tribune and numerous other poems in other Utah publications, the friends of J. G. Weaver and the many admirers of his verse have wished for his work in some permanent form. So often has Mr. Weaver been asked to bring out avolume of his poems that he at last decided to compile a small book and give it to the public during the present summer. , The collection will be taken from all his published poemr, and will contain the cream of all which he has written, together with a number of verses which have not yet appeared. The popularity of the "Lights and Shadows" while passing through the press was undoubted, and while many of the poems dealt only with subjects of the day, a number of them are worthy wor-thy of preservation outside the dusty files of the newspapers. The book will be sold by subscription only. |
