No Important developments have been' reported from the Majestic properties during tbe week. At the Old Hickory the electric drill plant Is being installed, the twenty horse-power gasoline engine and twenty-two horse-power 'dynamo being, on the ground. The shaft and tunnel are now being wired for the cur rent that will supply the drills and light, the mine. The working shaft Is' now down nearly 200 feet, and the tunnel U In over 200 feet, and will soon reach the shaft. More rapid progress will be made when the electric drills get to work. At the O. K. the new gasoline hoist on the working shaft will be connected up within a few days. The work of blocking out the ore bodies on the 200 and 300 levels steadily continues. Mil-ford Mil-ford Times, x MINING NOTES. Manager W. J. Lawrence has left for the Lawrence Consolidated in Idaho, with more men who will be put to work on that property. F. H. Buhl of Pennsylvania arrived yesterday and Is at the Knutsford. Mr. Buhl is here now to look after the Twin Falls irrigation deal. The Comstock's new mill Is scheduled to begin grinding this week. Secretary L. G. Brown of the Erie company of Beaver county has returned from the East. The directors of the Utah mine will probably meet this week to select a secretary. sec-retary. It is thought Mr. .Weiler will again accept the position. FOUR METALS ANNUAL; , HILLS RETURNS THIS WEEK. Secretary Hills of the Four Metals company of Dugway will return from Omaha this week, accompanied " by a party of Eastern shareholders of that property, and also of the Gotham Mining Mi-ning company of Nevada. The Easterners East-erners are coming to attend the Four Metal company's annual meeting, which will be held here May 7th. Until that date the party will spend the time Inspecting In-specting both the properties. SHAREHOLDERS COMING; PRESIDENT LEWIS RETURNS. Senator A. B. Lewis, president of the Majestic Mining and Smelting company, com-pany, returned yesterday from an extended ex-tended business trip to the Eastern commercial ' centers. Relative to the results of his trip, Mr. Lewis refused to talk, preferring, he said, to remain silent si-lent until after the Majestic's annual meeting, which is scheduled to be held In Denver May 12th. Mr. Lewis expects a delegation of Eastern shareholders to arrive here tomorrow, to-morrow, to spend some time at the mine before going to Denver for the shareholders' meeting. BACX FROM THE UTAH. Charles Crismon, the well-known as-sayer, as-sayer, returned yesterday from the Utah mine at Fish Springs, where he went ten days ago to look. over the property. Mr. Crismon reports the mine in good condition. Another car of ore, left the mine for the market yesterday. CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN. General Manager George H.
