Show ADDITION PLANNED FDR THE KNUTSFORD Gus 'Holmes Is Arranging1 for Modern ix-Story Annex to His Big Hotel. Gus S. Holmes, manager of the Knutsford, who, it Is believed, went East to arrange for the construction of the addition to his hotel, which has Wen under consideration for some time, Is expected here In a few days. The Intention has been to construct a six-story building on the vacant lot north of the hotel and to connect the old and the new buildings with broad marble mar-ble halls. A large courtyard in the new part will be provided for. The new building will be modern in all Its appointments, and will have a cafe of the most elaborate kind. Mr. Holmes, It is understood, was to meet Sylvester Cunningham, the owner of the Knutsford building, in the East, and have the question of the addition determined. |
