Beginning Sunday night, June 14th', Held's band will give an open air concert con-cert at the Salt Palace commencing at 8 o'clock. The McGurrin Banking company has become thoroughly established In Its new quarters at 134 South Main. A new front Is being put In at Mul-veys Mul-veys liquor house. Just south of the Kenyon. When finished it will be an elaborate affair of colored and plate glass and hardwood finish. Dr. Grlswold, dentist, and his wife, have gone to Denver where they expect ex-pect to remain for a week. Dr. T. B. Beatty of the State Board of Health Is expected home about June 15th. He has attended an Interstate medical congress at Washington, D. C, where he represented Utah. Thomas P. Page, a member of the Riverton Commercial club, was In the city yesterday. He reports business flourishing in that locality. Seth Plxton, manager of the Seth Plx-ton Plx-ton company doing business at River-ton, River-ton, was In the city Wednesday when he purchased more stock for his store. The Wilkes Cycle company, 21 East First South, received a carload of new automobiles this week. Some of the new machines have created a great deal of interest on the streets. John Held, the bandmaster and fountain pen doctor, has nothing but good thing9 to say about The Telegram. He states that from his ten line local advertisement which has appeared the last two Saturdays he has received over $30. One of these answered netted him $13 and many of the others thereabouts. |
