Hoehnes, clerk in the mailing mail-ing department of the Milwaukee post-office, post-office, who lost his position on recommendation recom-mendation of Postmaster Stlllman and Superintendent Jerome B. Johnston, claims 123,000 damages In a suit. Mr. Hoehnes asserts that his character and reputation have been defamed because of discharge by reason of what he claims to be wanton, malicious, Illegal and unauthorized actions of the postmaster post-master and superintendent of mails.
