Show I Today's Program for the Governors AT 10 a. ni. the governors now here will meet at tho capitol for discussion of the question of having hav-ing the public domain ceded to the individual states. Governor O. A. Larrazola of New Mexico will preside. pre-side. In the evening at 8 o'clock Governor Gov-ernor Bamberger and Mayor Ferry will officially welcome the visiting delegates at the public meeting to be held in the Tabernacle. Governor John G. Towiisend, Jr., of Delaware will respond to the greetings. The public will be welcome at this gathering. gath-ering. At 8:15 o'clock a special organ recital re-cital will be given for the governors, in which J. J. McClellau, the Tabernacle Taber-nacle organist, will preside at tho console. The following program will be given: "The Star-Spangled Banner"; Ban-ner"; Grand Fantasie ill G Major, by J. S. Bach; Andantino, by E. H. Lemare; an Old Melody, arranged for the organ by Mr. McClellan; Kamenoi Ostrow, by Anton Rubinstein, Rubin-stein, arranged for the organ by Mr. McClellan; excerpts from the musical musi-cal dramas of Eichard Wagner. Following the meeting proper an informal reception will be held at the Tabernacle. |
