Show UTAH SOLDIER BACK AFTER YEAR OVERSEA Special to The Tribune. OGDEX, Aug. 17. Ether Richards of Grouse Creek, Utah' arrived in Ogden this afternoon from Fort D. A. Russell, Wyo., where he was discharged from the army t yesterday. He was a member of the Fifteenth Fif-teenth field artillery, Second division, and : had been in service twenty-two months. Richards was a member of the 145th field artillery and went to Europe i in June, 1918, with the replacement division of the j 145th. He was assigned to the Fifteenth j artillery upon his arrival In France. Richards was in four big battles and I W'as under fire for almost one month, but escaped without a wound. Richards will visit hie sister, Mrs. T. H. Blackburn, 2628 Lafayette avenue, before be-fore continuing to his home. |
