Show SMITH COMPLIMENTS UTAH LABOR MEN John T. Smith, federal labor conciliator detailed to handle a number of Utah cases, has completed his work" in Salt Lake and will leave for Portland and Seattle, Sunday. Mr. Srriith declared that the attitude of both employers and union men in Utah had been exceptionally fair in the cases he has taken care of. "There are no more loyal and patriotic men in the country than those comprising Utah union labor," Mr. Smith said, "and in the Red Cross and Liberty loan campaigns they didn't give until it hurt, they looked upon It as a privilege and so it couldn't hurt." |
